Footballer Ched Evans has been found not liable of assaulting a 19-year-old lady in a lodging room.

The Chesterfield striker was blamed for assaulting her at a Chief Motel in Rhuddlan, Denbighshire, on 30 May 2011.

Mr Evans, 27, was initially discovered liable of assault at Caernarfon Crown Court in 2012, yet this conviction was subdued in April.

He was found not liable of similar charge at Cardiff Crown Court on Friday.
