Appointees are researching a Christmas Eve shooting almost a South Florida shopping center that murdered a gallant K9 officer named Cigo.
The pooch was credited with sparing the life of the agents, Sheriff Ric Bradshaw of the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office said at a news gathering Monday evening.
"He carried out his responsibility, giving his life to spare and ensure our own," Bradshaw said.
His office tweeted that a speculate shot at delegates and hit a K9 officer.
The suspect was shot by agents and was taken to a healing center for treatment, as WSVN revealed.
The K9 officer was being treated at a veterinarian crisis focus, however The Miami Herald announced that Cigo passed on amid medical procedure.
The sheriff's office said The Mall at Wellington Green in Palm Beach County was secured as representatives examined the shooting.

The Mall at Wellington Green has in excess of 160 shops and eateries in a piece of South Florida known for its equestrian network.
